After spending a considerable amount of time at home, patiently waiting for a mechanic to fix my van.....
The dash light informing me I had a charging issue came on about 40 miles from home on my last trip.
... I was finally on able to go explore once more.
I ended up at Oconee State Park
in northeast South Carolina. What a
beautiful area! Green and trees every
where you looked. Small villages along
the way and houses peaking between it
all.
My campsite was right next to this pond.
It was big enough to canoe and fish, but small enough to offer a peaceful vista.
At night you could watch the fireflies and in the morning have coffee with the view.
The second day out I meant a lovely couple checking out the campsite next to me. I turns out they had camped there years ago with their young children.
After the lose of their longtime companion dog, they could not stay home, so they were out wandering. The mountain memories made a welcoming diversion. It was my good luck to run into such warm hearted parents.
I would also be amiss if I did not mention the help I received from the boys Roebuck. Much appreciated. Our world is just so much better with kind people!

God put us here for a reason I think that reason is to learn how to help each other and our earth.
