Hello All,

My name is Karla and I am a creator of quilts.

I am so jazzed to finally be taking my first steps in sharing some of my quilt journeys online. My hope is to inspire others as I am inspired by so much; in my slice of the world.

I love quilts! All kinds of quilts, traditional to modern, applique and pieced, hand or machine. All that matters to me is the quilter’s spirit found in every quilt out there. My quilts tend to be ‘bed’ quilts. Meaning they are made to be used. Cuddle and comfort along with colors that make you smile; that is my design.

In the last year of ‘distance’; I have so missed sharing the warmth, laughter and encouragement of the quilting community . What I miss the most is seeing others’ creativity come to life in quilt form. I miss the stories they tell about their art. I cannot wait to attend my first quilt show once the World opens!

I have been playing with fabric since I was a little girl bored in my Mom’s sewing room. Making clothes for my sister’s dolls with pieces to little for even my Mom’s quilts. Like many, I have always done something creative to keep my fingers busy and the ideas tumbling out. Quilting is the one art form that stuck. I love creating with fabrics and threads.
