Day 3 Friends & Family

Updated: Aug 4, 2021

I think I should first introduce you all to Wild Beauty. She is a 2010 converted Chevy handicap passenger van. She was converted by Norman at Livlon Auto Gallery in Boynton Beach, Florida. I do not know much about cars or engines but she has a V8 and I am learning, plenty of drive. I gain respect for her daily.

After the harrowing drive on the Skyway road, I stopped at the first sign of life which happened to be Publix in Oxford AL. I got a drink and chilled. A sweet little guy took interest in Wild Beauty. Lauren Ashley, thanks for stopping by, your timing could not have been better.

I did not want to drive far. I also did not want any surprises. I looked over my map then called, questioned and made a reservation for a camp site at Lake Lurleen State Park near Tuscaloosa. It was just the campground I needed for this night. Beautiful in it's perfection. I had a lovely lake view. After the little set up I needed and a shower (much needed); I relaxed in a lake front swing.
